The best part of the day

The 1st ID Band playing with all of the other bands there that day.

Me, Ethan and Ryan down on the field. It was unbelieveable to hear the crowd cheer for the Black Lions and us the families.

BLACK LION FAMILIES ARE THE BEST. We were the Fans of the Day at the game. As we were down on the field our Black Lions were on the Jumbo Tron. It was awesome to hear them and see them. It made us miss Brett so much that day. It is really hard to see all of the soldiers. I look at my boys and I think that they are my little heros. They are so strong and loving and caring little men. Chris too. I am so proud of my boys and I absolutley without a doubt could not go through this long deployment with out them. I love you Snyder boys. We are so proud of the 3 of you. Oh and the interesting part about the K-State game.... I think that I like football. It was really fun to watch them run down the field, score and give high fives to Ethan and Ryan and yell and scream with them. We had an awesome day. It will be a deployment 2009 memory that we will never forget.

Willie the Wildcat K-State game

This is a pic of the Cats prepping to run out onto the field. They were saluted with the Howitzer and another gun. It was so loud and the boys thought that it was way cool.

Willie in his ACU's running out onto the field.

Willies helicopter landing in the field across the street from the stadium.

More K-State/Ft. Riley Day

The Black Hawks were doing a fly over and I got it just in time behind the flag.

K-State Football Game September 2009

Ryan, Jacob and Ethan in the Cat Tent waiting for the food and festivities to start.

Ryan doing the pose of the day...the BLACK LION

Walking down College avenue to the field. What a beautiful day the Lord made.

Brett is in a batallion called 4th IBCT HHC 1-28 Black Lions. They have a long standing tradition with the Kansas State Wildcat football team. Our batallion was given free ticket for this past Saturdays home game here in Manhattan. It was K-State/Ft. Riley Day and band day and parents day. So I got us free tickets, Chris was going to go but he woke up with a sore throat so he stayed home and Ethans little friend Jacob went in his place. The weather was perfect football weather. We left at 10:30 and found decent parking for 10.00 of course, gotta help out the scouts. We got to go to the 1st Brigade tailgate party. We ate hot dogs and hamburgers and met all of the other Black Lion Ladies and their families there. We were all so happy to be there and looking forward to enjoying the day with each other. As you probably know, I am NOT a football mom so I did this purely for my boys....or so I thought!

Bradley and Ryan

This was their favorite ride at Kings Island. They would laugh and throw their hands in the air when the ride would whip them around the corner. Tyanne and I stood there many a hour waiting for them to ride and re-ride and re-ride.

And then there were 4

Brandon had a baby brother Bradley. The 4 of them were just adorable and so much fun to be around. We miss our buddies very much.

Best buddys

Ethan and Brandon were best friends from the time they were born. Brandon is 6 months older than Ethan and they were a mess together but they were the cutest messes that you have ever seen. It was really hard to scold these 2 cuties.

Great Grandma and Ethan and Ryan

Meryle was the best great grandma in the whole world. She was Brett's grandma and she loved these boys. I am so glad that they got to know her too.
