When 9-11 happened we were living in Cincinnati and Brett was back in the guard. I knew that he wanted to go back in active duty and I was so scared on that day. I left work and picked up Chris from school. I remember that I wrote under reason for check out, I wrote "comfort". I was not the only one that put that as the reason I am sure. That day changed our lives forever. I will never forget!
