It was raining and horrible weather on the day that we left for Florida. All of the Snyders met at Kroger in North College Hill and we headed out. The 2 big kid (21 and 19) rode with grandma and grandpa, Tyler, Ethan and Ryan checked out each other movie collection and shared. We were so excited and could not wait to get to "sunny" Florida. We had lunch at McDonalds in the Smoke Mountains. It was cloudy and foggy but the smokies are so beautiful. Of course our boys were sleeping, Chris and Chris were in grandma and grandpas car sleeping and I think that Tyler may also have been sleeping! At least none of the adults were sleeping. I think that we were too excited to sleep! We were on our vacation at last! We drove 8 hours to our first stop a Holiday Inn Express south of Atlanta GA. It was pouring down rain and we ate dinner at Cracker Barrell and had the first of many celebration dinners of the week. It was Sandy and Pauls 50th wedding anniversary. Tylers birthday week and Pauls birthday week. And the fact that for the first time we were all together on a trip! Let the fun begin!
